Bay Motors is building out its own towing arm. Until that is fully in place, the fastest thing we can do is take your call, work out what the car actually needs, and make sure it gets here safely.

Get safe first

Before you worry about the car, deal with where you are standing.

  • If the car still rolls, get it fully off the road. Hazard lights on.
  • Get out on the side away from traffic. If you cannot, stay belted in with the doors locked.
  • On a freeway shoulder, wait behind the barrier, not next to the car.
  • If anyone is hurt, or the car is stopped in a live lane, call 911 first. Call us after.

Have this ready when you call

Four answers and we can give you the next step on the first call instead of the third.

  • Where you are. A cross street, an exit number, or text us a dropped pin.
  • Year, make and model, and whether the car is in park or neutral.
  • What happened. Would not start, died while driving, warning light, flat, overheating, collision.
  • Whether the wheels still turn and the steering is unlocked. That changes how a car has to be moved.

What happens after the call

  • We confirm what help is actually available for you right now.
  • If the car comes here, it comes to 877 Industrial Pkwy W in Hayward.
  • We test before we guess. The car gets diagnosed before anyone recommends a repair.
  • You get a straight answer and you decide. Nothing is authorized without you.

Straight about where this stands

Towing is new for us and we are still building it. This page does not promise service at every hour, a response time, a price, a service area, or a truck sitting idle waiting on your call.
